The Marina Center is located at 14,255 Gouin West H8Z 3C2, corner of Saint-John's boul. and Gouin boul. West on the West Island of Montreal (borough of Pierrefonds).
Marina centre is doing an excellent job and love living here only complaint are the people with dogs PICK UP YOUR DOG POO HAVE RESPECT and the older tenants are mostly very rude.
ReplyDeleteGOOD JOB MARINA CENTRE STAFF KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, Dont let the old bats get to ya!!!Ha Ha
Like the comment above, I've been living here for a while and way back this place was the envy of the neighborhood. There was a doorman who actually opened the door for you (every day and night of the week) - not a whatchman who sits and reads the paper. The entrance windows and floor were always clean, so were the elevators and hallways (vacuum once a week). There was a better class of people - not noisy pot smoking punks and I can go on. I understand that maintenance costs have been going up however so have our rents and the more the increase the less services we get - that does not add up in my book. And to whom ever said that the Marina Center is doing a good job needs to have the eyes checked !
ReplyDeleteI agree whoever, said that the Marina Center is doing a good job, definately must be blind. When I moved here it was owned by a Corporation. It was professionally managed. When Enzo Barrasso, took over the building, it was obvious that he did not care much about the building or his tenants. Everything has to be a fight with this administration to get anything done. Examples as follows;
ReplyDeletea) outside premises disgusting
b) Depanneur, Hairdressing services
no longer.
c) front stairs never properly
repaired
d) Christmas decorations never
done properly
e) Flowers and grass seeds not done in
planted in a well organized time in
Spring and leaves in Autumn never
picked up.
f) Snow removal never properly done
for example, the walkway by the
water can never be used by the
temants because it is thick with
ice.
TENANTS MUST SEND THEIR LETTERS TO THE ATTENTION OF VINCENZO BARRASSO, DEMANDING THAT HE RECTIFIES THE PROBLEMS WITHIN 7 DAYS OR LEGAL RECOURSE WILL BE TAKEN. AFTER THAT WE CAN GO AS A GROUP TO THE REGIE DE LOGEMENT AND FILL OUT A DEMAND FORM FOR $64.00, AND REQUEST A RENT REDUCTION OF $200.00 PER MONTH UNTIL THE PROBLEMS ARE FIXED.
(IMHO)
ReplyDeleteThere's a huge flood throughout the west island at the moment. The WHOLE outside parking lot is flooded. We pay for those parking spots that we can no longer use due to the high levels of waters, which makes it impossible to get in and out of cars - let's be honest, the levels of waters we're seeing right now can drown a motor -. We cannot walk on the streets either otherwise we get water in our shoes/boots, too. And as of today, there's absolutely no way to get to and out of the Marina Center if you don't have a car! It's that bad!
To make matters worst, the landlord's office hasn't even come forth to offer its tenants indoor parking spots to accommodate them for the loss of parking space this flood has caused and to protect the cars, too.
No! On the contrary! Our landlord and its representatives have been totally silent and unhelpful in the matter! When asked what they intended to do to accommodate our cars, we were told that they wouldn't! And that we should park our car 2-3 streets away from the Marina Center. How do they expect us to come home with this flood if we park the cars that far and there's nowhere, but in the flood/sewer water, to walk in!?!?!? And that if the landlord gives us indoor parking spot while the flood is going on, then he'll have to give indoor parking spots to all the tenants affected by that flood and who pay for an outside parking spots. Huh duh!!! Yes!!! You DO have to provide your tenants with parking spots that they can use! And giving them indoor parking spots when you have tons to spare, shouldn't be a problem at all here!!!
What kind of landlord do we have here!!!??? In the meantime, they're still receiving OUR money for outside parking spaces that we cannot use at all!!!
This is, by far, the WORST LANDLORD I've ever had!
It seems to me that only the money matters to the landlord and that our safety and belonging, as well as our well being while residing here, is none of his concern! Might as well say "The hell with the tenants!" out loud because that's the message we're getting from him and his representatives!
Greed and Apathy are really not nice things to see. Specially not in times of crisis when the whole city of Pierrefonds is affected by this flood!
