Parcour Thief on the Loose

It has been brought to my attention that in the recent past a Parcour thief has been seen scaling the west side of the buildings from balcony to balcony and stealing belongings from people who leave their balcony doors unlocked. In one specific case it was reported that a tenant on the 4th floor had a laptop stolen which was in the living room. The thief seems to be a man in his early twenties who was caught dressed in black and with a black back-pack. Athough he was followed, he managed to evade the person following him until he was spotted scaling the balconies in the dark.

Be sure to lock you balcony doors and windows and in the summer use the lock in the rail to lock them open and prevent anyone from coming in while allowing air to circulate. Using the rail lock will lock the door or window open for only about 3 inches.

It sounds crazy to think that someone could be robbing tenants in this way, but you can be assured that Parcouring is very real... just Google it or watch the videos on YouTube.

  1. Ok I don't know how many people in this building read this blog but let's hope it get's known. I'm so upset with somme tenants that throw their cigarettes or marihuana butts lower from their balconies. They don't care! You have kids running and screaming in this building, Parents don't care! You have a gang of teenagers going about with vandalism, intimidation towards tenants. Parents and administration don't care! You have the administration which play games with your mind and demands. They definitely don't care!..So as tenants, who cannot afford moving or just don't want to move, cause unfortunately unrepsectful morons and bigots just are to egoists and think they are permitted to screw up other tenants serenity! What, how, whom, where and when will a comittee of tenants will have enough courage, guts and self respect to take on the power in this building and lay down some obligations and rules?

    1. You are getting the names and apartments mixed up. I strongly suggest that you do not post such information here or make accusations. If there is a problem go see the administration.

    2. Why do you say Matthew is a punk? I want to know what he did to you? I am his father. If he does something inappropriate I will deal with him. Go tell Robert the janitor if there is anything, and he will speak to me as he knows me.

    1. Okay, so let us meet. Tell Robert you want to meet me and he will arrange it. That way you can tell me what my son is doing and then I will deal with my son.

    2. What are you going to do to deal with your son? Yell at him like you do at cops? It doesn't do any good! First of all why implicate Robert and second of all if you would of done a good job in teaching your son respect, all of these comments would not exist !

    3. You make unfounded and unsubstantiated accusations in a public forum which are tantamount to being slanderous, and then when I graciously give you the benefit of the doubt and offer to meet with you via an intermediary to resolve any issue you may feel exists, thus politely showing you that I am responsible enough to concern myself with my son’s conduct or any potential misconduct, you blow me off with insults and ridicule me. In my eyes you have no credibility. If you want to deal with this in a responsible manner, you know how to reach me. (Note that although this is an anonymous forum, Blogspot saves the IP addresses of all messages posted, thus allowing anyone to obtain a court order to identifying the individual making the slanderous posts and seek legal remedy. Please think before you make unfounded accusations or you may end up finding yourself being served with a law suit for slander.)

  4. Oh my God, these comments are getting to mean for me. All I would like to say is people that live in this building should have respect for all neighbours. We live in a society of Me, Myself and I. If tenants would do there share of keeping this building clean, quiet and respectful, it would be a wonderful place to live in. Unfortunately, some tenants don't care cause it does'nt belong to them. It's so sad to see all the agressiveness in here.

  6. Peace and Love .... no hostility or retribution. It's not necessary. Life is to important to be wasted on words written without prejudice. I don't agree with everything on this blog, It is a blog where tenants are free to write their opinions. They are opinions, good or bad. Do not dwell on them. It's a social media where all kind of people write down their anger, frustrations and insecurities. As we all know ''stick and stones might hurt me but words will never get to me''. To all the tenants be good and peaceful. Help each other! Pray for a better world! Legal revenge, physical revenge or verbal revenge is not the answer. Yes I'm frustated about garbage being thrown down, cigarette butts, vandalism, doors slaming, people not respecting their environment but I pray that they will see that respect is the solution. GOD BLESS!
