Water Pressure down to almost nothing
The water pressure is down to almost nothing again. We had a water pressure problem a few weeks ago and were told it was because the swimming pool was being filled up. Then they discovered a problem and had to empty the pool, repair the problem and start filling it up again. Today the water pressure is so low that we cannot even take a shower. They could use one of the fire hoses and connect it to a fire hydrant to get the pool filled up quickly and without inconveniencing the tenants OR they can fill the pool between midnight and 6 am when most people are asleep... but that would be too logical! I guess nobody will take a shower for the next week while we let the swimming pool fill up!

Hi.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your blog!
I applied for an apartment at the marina not long ago. The building now has cameras and seems more secure than your older posts.
The water pressure is an alarming concern, though. Does it happen often? Do you thing the building is still unsavory or do you think it has improved? Is there still "services" offered there or has it stopped? Hope it has stopped, otherwise it's not a good place to raise kids.
The building is much better than before and the administration is working really to rid of all unsavory tenants.
DeleteI have noticed that water pressure is much better but to let you know the city has been working on water drainage.
DeleteThe staff of the new management have started to make changes, like the cameras... and they deserve credit for their efforts. But there are still some unsavory characters left and I am not sure if they will be able to get them out any time soon. I would recommend that you avoid this place for the moment.
ReplyDeleteRome was not built in one day. The administration is working really hard to get rid of those unsavory tenants and it will be resolved soon. Unfortunately, they have to proceed legally. I find the building much better than it was but yet it is not the administration's fault when a tenant decides to move away and make holes in the renovated elevators. Or throw their garbage without using bags, or throwing food on the carpets because they cannot teach their kids RESPECT.One think I can suggest is GOOD security guards on duty 24 hours to check what the cameras cannot stop at the moment it happens. Like car racing in the parking lot or cars playing their music really loud in front of building. I suggest strongly to tell administration, tenants who are not following the rules of the building! Tenants abusing their rights with their dogs pooping and not picking it up. Beside that I'm sure once these procedures come under control, this building will be great to live in!
